Siwa is by far one of the best kept secrets in Egypt. I would recommend visiting here to anyone. The Shali fortress is a fantastic ruin that makes one feel like they are stepping back in time.

Takes a little to find your way to the entrance of the Fortress but once you are there there is a LOT to climb on and to discover. There are no inscriptions or even recognizable buildings but this is a cool place to visit and...More
