Siwa is amazing, it’s a long way to get there but it’s remoteness makes it unique. There is a lot to see there so give yourself time to relax into its charm and the warm hospitality of its people.

Highly recommended , u have to do it if u have been to siwa and if u are far away it worth the the long travel way i don’t think u could experience this one at any place the way u will have it in siwa ( i recommend u get fresh water with because there is no shower room and u have to threw away the salt from ur body as soon as u finished ur experience )

Relaxing and no need to know how to swim because the salt literally make you float , but the place is not prepared so leave you hotel with the swimming suit and water ,sun block snd snakes
The is no bath or locker theire
Water shoes is necessary also don't still in the water more than 25 min. Also return ahead to your hotel for taking shower
Enjoy the experiment

It's so salty, that you can stay there for hours laying on it, I was having a feeling that I could also sleep there. Just be careful to not touch you face with hands, lol.

It was an amazing experience.
Siwa has over 10 million palm tree, full of lakes .the nature combination of water /gold sand/greens/blue sky is beyond imagination.
The most famous is the salt lake with its high percentage of salts and minerals.
it is a relaxation ,healing shallow water where you can float.
Salt has an impact on positive energy , you can take salt samples home with you.

Note:
Siwa salt lake is a primitive destination with no facilities. Don't except bath rooms, showers or lockers.there is no actual (beach) or restaurants in this area.
leave hotel wearing your bathing suit, with enough water, snacks , sun block & head cover. a water shoe is very important as the lack ground is rocky and slippery and can easily hurt your feet
Best time :early morning ,as you need to head back for your hotel for a quick shower.
don't wear metals, the water is cold
the most regular method to tour Siwa is hiring a travel agency/tourism company to arrange the tour for you including driving to attractions. it is totally difficult to navigate this oasis alone
