Nice place, example how they build things long time ago. Has very steep hills to climb, if someone wants to wants to walk around whole park.

We thoroughly enjoyed this inexpensive and self-directed tour of the Old Castle in Varazdin. Nicely appointed with displays of clothing and period weapons as well as some period furniture made for an enjoyable hour or so. I recommend this as a fun activity.

a timeless castle from these lands showing the life of the ruler of the Middle Ages. The environment is abruptly maintained and adapted to tourism. She definitely saw her visiting the city.

Probably one of the most preserved castles in this part of Europe. Inside there is a museum where you get an insight into the rich history of Varazdin and its surroundings for an entry fee of 3.5 euros.

This castle: Stari Grad (Old Town) is very pictoresque and stemmimg from the medieval times. It is most important monument in Varaždin. Its construction began back in the 14th century and lasted for over four centuries.

Not only is this a well preserved castle but there's also tons of museum pieces in here. If you're anywhere near Varazdin this is well worth seeing. Admission price is very cheap!
