The city hosts several historical buildings and the Cathedral of St. Lawrence (Cattedrale di San Lorenzo) is beautifully standing at the square. We visited around the Christmas time and it was quite lively with people enjoying drinks and music.

Lovely historic buildings and lots of bars and restaurants around. Live music was sung by a group of five singers singing traditional Croatian music. It does get very busy but it adds to the atmosphere. Very picturesque and great for photographic opportunities.

The heart of the old walled city - all alleyways lead here. Lots of small shops - an amazing church tower which you can climb and entertainment at night - what more do you want!

Trogir is lovely to wander round, but in the height of summer it gets really busy. Especially during the full moon festival. Try to visit early in the morning to enjoy the town waking up

The Central Square in Trogir is a great place to surround yourself with beautiful buildings. It is just a short distance from the harbor promenade.

Be sure to visit the main square while in Trogir. Local Singing groups to rock bands perform day and night. Enjoyable stroll before and after your meal. Many restaurants surround the area. Gypsy flea market just around the corner on the harbor quay.

We stopped on our drive from Zadar to Split. It was not overcrowed I think because cruise ships don't come here. It is a very cute town.

A super medieval walled town full of surprises. Lovely alleyways, paved streets, shops, cafes and lots of historical sights. Check out the ice creams too.

Trogir is about 10 minutes away from Split airport, by bus (number 37). Buses are every 20 min. from main road outside airport. Trogir is small so once there it will only be a 5-10min walk to any of the hotels.
