It is situated on the main square in Trogir opposite the Cathedral. You need to come very near to see it as the square is full of tables with chairs of a few bars/cafes with big umbrellas. It served as courtroom or meeting place in the past. The walls are decorated with reliefs.

The Loggia Trogir is located in the heart of the main square of Trogir Old Town. It is an antique building dating back to the 13th century. It has a unique architecture that represents the grandeur of ancient architecture in Croatia. Probably influenced by the Venetian republic, the building is similar to an Italianate loggia, consisting of a structure open on all sides, designed by the Croatian architect, Ivan Meštrović. The structure was apparently used as a courtroom and the north wall still has the judge's table. Behind that is a 14th century relief portraying the personification of Justice.

A splendid example of Venetian Reneissance architecture, this a type of city loggia that can be found in other cities too which have been under Venetian rule

When you are on the main square in old city of Trogir, there is a plenty of architectural pieces you should take a closer look. One of the best pieces is loggia. You can enter it and enjoy artworks on walls and ceiling, amazing.

For such a small area there is plenty of history associated with the building. With wall art with history attached to it and concrete seating around it so you can sit and watch the activity in the main square. This area is used for local weddings and events so sometimes is not accessible but you can still see it even if you cant get into it. Very nice place to visit.

It's a beautiful building that one needs to take a few minutes to acknowledge when visiting the historical city center. It's free of charge, yet very popular with the tourists so you might have to wait your turn to climb the few stairs and behold it.

Found in the main square and a central meeting point, City Loggia displays exquisite sculptures and Renaissance architecture. It was used for many different purposes - mostly as a court - and was restored most recently in 2018 to cope with the influx of tourists to Trogir.

Make sure you get to hear the Klappa singing. Marvellous. Wanted to join in. And the architecture isn't bad.
