This would be a nice place to visit but we found it in the middle of restoration work, with a muddle of bits anmd pieces in the cloisters.

This is one of the many, many interesting and beautiful buildings in the stunning Old Town of Trogir.

Worth paying the small fee to go insdie the monastery away from the crowds. Church itself is undistinguished but cool and quiet, and the courtyard/cloister is very pretty. Don't miss the tortoises in one of the four 'squares' within the courtyard!

Escape the crowds in the middle of Trogir for a wander around the monastery. Beautiful cool courtyard and simple old church. Highlight for kids: the tortoises with lots of tiny babies in the courtyard.

Our accommodation was opposite this tower, what a sight waking up to see it with hundreds of swallows circling, chirping and probably nesting around and on it. Lovely to hear the church bells ringing so close too.
