A lovely Mediterranean old town on a tiny island connected by bridges. Very well preserved with old houses and 13th-century cathedral. Also full of tourists, souvenir shops, ice cream stands and restaurants. Waterfront cafes have big TV screens to watch Euro 2016 football.

A UNESCO World Heritage site. The old town is a maze of small alleys full of eating places all of which will invite you to give them a go ! The town is laden down with sights of historic interest. It's all quite picturesque. Worth a trip. Very busy on the approach to Trogir because there is only one small... More

Lovely old town in great condition. We stayed 4 days which maybe was too long as the town is small. The whole town is walkable in an afternoon but it's very easy to get lost in. Just sitting on the Riva and watching people and ships is good relaxing fun.

Plenty of old buildings worth an attention. All important buildings have plates with information, so you can go there even without any preparation and still get useful information. Even without reading plates, it's nice to see all those buildings and port-side.

Nice half day trip from split. The old town looks quite similar to split and dubrovnik though smaller in size but looks more authentic/original. I find the waterfront to be much more pleasant as well.

For a small town ( I have been to bigger shopping areas in the UK) there is so much crammed in with a pleather of restaurants, shops, bars and even a football pitch and a Cathedral. Cobble stones as smooth as glass all add to the history of the town. going back YES

Trogir's historic centre is on an island encircled by a wall with two gates. Like most medieval cities (big and small) the historic centre consists of winding, narrow and twisted streets, and getting lost is almost inevitable ... also part of the fun. The narrow streets are filled with ancient stone houses with carved doorways, coats of arms, mullioned windows... More

There is a nice, pleasant Riva with palm trees, somewhat like Split but smaller. The Riva is lined with tourist restaurants with "hosts" who immediately come up and start talking at you as soon as you approach the menu. They don't even let you read it or think. The interior of the old town looks about like every other "old... More
