A must side trip to be made when in split. This is a UNESCO heritage site so expect tons of tourists. Great architecture, history. Easy walk around the fort. Spend about 30-45mins

We wanted to see a bit more along the coast so got the bus from Split to Trogir. I think it was 35 kuna, you have to pay each way, no return tickets. It only took about half an hour. We walked around the town...More

Visited here for a few hours before heading south to Dubrovnik. Another pretty little town steeped in history with narrow cobbled streets. Lots of cafe bars and restaurants with quaint little shops. Worth a visit if you are in the area!

We love walking around these medieval towns and this one is as good as they get. A maze of well maintained and original old streets and alleyways.

This town is just as beautiful as Dubrovnik but without the crowds. We enjoyed a leasurely stroll with a guide and thoroughly enjoyed a very picturesque historical town which showed great character.

You'll be hard pushed to wander such a lovely area without being impressed by it. Ideal area if you find hills a bit difficult as this area is totally on the level.

We simply love Trogir, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is well worth of this title! We prefer Trogir over Split, it has so much to offer, many little alleys with much to discover, a beautiful promenade, many beautiful, old buildings, good food...More

Bus 37 between Split and Trogir passes the airport and leaves roughly on an hourly basis as I recall. Not sure about lockers in Trogir (it is a siple bus station). But if you have sufficient time, you may consider dropping... More

I am afraid not. Not unless you charter your own boat. But ferrys, small boats going from Trogir to Split if you don't want to go by taxi. ( taxi is low cost). Never the less, you have to go from Split if heading for Hvar... More
