When planning for our Istria trip, we read up more on Pula and Opatijia, needed a night stop and chose Rovinj due to Hotel Adriatic because it was new, stylish & No.1 at TA. It was raining heavily on 11 Nov when we arrived, so it was dark, cold and wet that evening, we just stayed in the hotel and... More

We spent some time walking around the port in Rovinj while we visited the Old Town. The port is small but very cool. There are many small boats anchored there. You can get a tour boat for a ride around the area or get a water taxi to take you to other nearby water locations. We enjoyed having coffee and... More

We spent a fabulous day in this lovely town and going to see all the sights that are a must to see but the real hidden beauty is the place its self with its cobbled streets with a high standards of cleanliness and the colourfully houses yet remaining rustics and original Cafes and restaurants by the harbour with free wifi... when you arrive to the port you recognize that you are in a very nice place. This is not your last station here, take care not to leave before crossing to the old city.

The whole of Rovinj, pronounced Ro-vin is an absolute joy and the GF and I loved it. Lots of attractions, cafes and little shops it is a great day out. I'm not sure I would want to stay there because it is small which is part of its beauty but perhaps limits its appeal of staying for a week or... More

I have visited the Port of Rovijn on many occasions. My greatest joy is feeding the pigeons and seagulls with loaves of bread.

The ferries to the island hotels on St Andrew and St Katharina leave from the port of Rovinj at half past the hour from two places in the port of Rovinj and arrive in the port at about 20 past the hour.

Great place to walk around and see the harbor. We were here on a cold day in October and missed the crowds! Very nice! Great to relax with my wife in this beautiful spot!

One of the most beautiful places I have visited, picture postcard. Cobbled streets with quirky shops, plenty of places to eat and drink. Bars on the waterfront with cushions by the rocks, amazing sunsets.
