New Year's Eve 2017

Nice visit of the town of Rovinj and the small port of that town. Very clean with beautiful colours of the sea. Just in front you see the small Island of Burjini.

After 2 hours, one gets bored. Good place to have dinner or lunch. Not as expensive as Italy or Austria. Croatia is still not as developed as West Europe. The harbor was cute.

What a beautiful place to visit. Cobbled streets, interesting shopping, plenty of places to eat and drink for snacks or meals. Sightseeing was great, the church at the top of the hill whilst a bit of a steep trek was really worthwhile. The views were spectacular from up there. We would definitely go again.

Rovinj is simply a charming city though I think it is probably best to visit in off season due to crowds. It is very much like cities in Italy in many ways though truly Croatian. Missing Istria would be a shame for anyone because the city is worth staying in for a few days and venturing out to see other... More

A must see, beautiful little streets, shiny cobblestone roads, lots of great Italian restaurants and the best ice-cream ever. Easy to wander around, the streets up to the church can be steep and the roads can be slippy so not great for wearing flip flops, but well worth the climb, both the church and the views over the town and... Despite being a port it has a charming appearance. We used it as a gateway to the hinterland and an excellent lunch in Rovinj.

When planning for our Istria trip, we read up more on Pula and Opatijia, needed a night stop and chose Rovinj due to Hotel Adriatic because it was new, stylish & No.1 at TA. It was raining heavily on 11 Nov when we arrived, so it was dark, cold and wet that evening, we just stayed in the hotel and... More

We spent some time walking around the port in Rovinj while we visited the Old Town. The port is small but very cool. There are many small boats anchored there. You can get a tour boat for a ride around the area or get a water taxi to take you to other nearby water locations. We enjoyed having coffee and... More
