Wander round porec at leisure and dont forget to look up. All sorts of attractive buildings can be found in the WHS area. This is one of them just off a small square near to a park which the locals seem to use more than tourists.. Nice quirky gift shop at street level, and a wonderful building in a wonderful... More

This is not somewhere to visit but a place to view whilst walking on Decumanus in old Porec. It is easy to miss as there is a lot of old architecture but go and take a look.

The first is the basilica by far. the rest of the old town we found hit or miss never quite rising to the charm of other nearby old towns such as Bale or Rovinj or the hill towns further in land. The Romanesque house is near the west end of Decumanus street the main thoroughfare through the old town. The... More

The Romanesque House is close to Marafor Square so easy to find. It is an interesting historic structure with outside staircase and wooden balcony. Now houses an art studio / shop on the ground floor.

I found this house very interesting. It is probably the only romanesque house in Poreç that has remained intact. A 13th century residential house, it is beautifully preserved with a wooden balcony and mullioned windows. Don't forge to check on one side (the right while looking at the front) to see the outside staircase

One of the great old buildings that has fallen victim to tourism and is now an art gallery, such a shame

The Romanesque house is also in the middle of Porec,in a small square with trees. Its nothing spectacular, closed at the top of the steps when we were there.Worth a photo stop but no more.

An interesting structure dating from 13th century, housing an art shop. Its a building which adds to the character of the street scene, but it would be nicer as a museum.
