We loved Vrbnick. We thought the Katunar Winery was excellent and bought a 5 liter bottle of their house white wine. Some of the best wine I've ever had. Be careful and pay for parking! It's cheap. We chartered a private boat tour for cheap and went boating and swimming. The shops are great and the food excellent. A must!

Vrbnik is a pretty hill town on Krk Island, well known for its indigenous wines. The town itself is quite small, with narrow streets and lovely views over the Adriatic. The narrowest street in the world is located here

Vrbnik is a small and nice Croatian town on the East coast of the island of Krk. It’s a true traditional Mediterranean town with clustered houses. The island is connected to the mainland by means of the Krk bridge. The most interesting places to visit in that town are the Vitezić library and the Church of the Assumption and, particularly... Lovely old hill top village. Famous for its wine made from the acres of local vineyards. This year our visit coincided with the grape picking season so it was interesting to watch the lorries of grapes trundling back and forwards from the vineyards to the wine houses. The village is packed full of charm with old cobbled streets and old... More

As weather was not for sunbathing, we went for trip in this town. Quite small, sometimes boring, but althought nice. There is very good wine shop and nice visitors, but terrible parking, be prepared.

This town is located on a little hill just by the sea. It's great for a day trip. I recommend going to the beach first, have a little swim during the day. Lots of people also snorkel there. Then in the evening go for a walk up to the town centre. The old part is very small but interesting. You... More

Someone told us there is hard to find parking space. After the breakfast, we arrived there around 9 o'clock and it was easy to find parking space. We walked around and passed through most of unusual streets and saw many good views. The end, of course we had bought their local wine and shots.

It's a must see place! Historical part of the town is supersmall, and always full of tourists. However, its so romantic.. I find nice small gardens full of herbs, olive trees, grapes or tomatos between house walls or on every balony. Small wine shops and butiques are offering free sampels of their home made olive oil, wine...or rakia!

Vrbnik is a quiet little town with a very historical center - like a small Trogir. It has very small evening life, so it is good for people who are looking for a quiet holidays. The downtown of Vrbnik is very historical with small and narrow streets (some for walking of one man only), stone stairways and romantic places. In... More
