We went there from Krka National park. The boat ride was very relaxing (45 minutes each way). We had 30 minutes (which is enough) on the island to go around and visit the monastery. It was a really lovely experience that I wouldn't mind to...More

In this place (located in a small island in the middle of Krka river), apart from the smal monastery and a curious museum, there are animals, fruits, plants, and flowers. In here, actually, there was a guide welcoming to the island who provided a lot...More

In general no, but on Sundays when they hold masses there is an opportunity to travel on the monastery boat that meets people on the shore directly across the island. On August 4th and 15th there is a major event on the island with literally thousands of worshipers visiting the monastery for religious events and people travel to the island from shore with loads of private boats offering a taxi service for a fee. The monastery boats do not charge for the service, only private boats and its about 5 Kuna per person.
