Can be seen from most parts of this little town, nice up close and worth a photograph or two from both near and far, Did not venture in as was closed but lovely and clean and well maintained. Lovely backdrop with the mountain/hill behind it.

You simply can't miss it, it really dominates the view in the central square. Looks just beautiful with the mount Biokovo behind it. It's pretty and not too big on the inside, not too lavish.

My father was born here in 1898, Meo Batinic' (Leo). Spelled Batinick. I'm 75 and never met my father, he died 2 months before I was born. Father name was Nick and mother Helen. I must have many cousins here in Makarska as I have a list of 25 Batinic' that live here. I'd like to say hi to some of them, tks.
