Not much to see here except the spectacular lace items that are produced from Agave cactus. You do not get to see the nuns producing the lace. It’s worth a stop if you enjoy intricate lace products. If not, I would skip it.

Although it is a very small museum that is run by the Benedictine nuns, it is lovely to see. The doilies that they have on display and can be purchased are amazing. They are made from the agave plant’s strings. I can’t even imagine how...More

This is just part of exploring this small, charming city with hundreds of years of history. Nice sculpture next to it. and lovely small shops near it- unique offerings in a lot of places.

The monastery and chapel are not much. There is a small museum as well that holds some interest. The main attraction here is the lace made from agave fibres which have beautiful patterns. However, in the shop it is very expensive - but considering the...More

It is located since 1664. The great poet Hanibal Lucic's daughter in law Julija willed this place to Benedictines in 1591. There are many things displayed. The nuns have been making laces of agave threads since 19th century which is mentioned in UNESCO's List Of...More

A very small museum priced like a big one. Very disappointing choice of embroidery. The Franciscan monastery is a much more interesting visit
