Kind of a must if you are in Hvar. Very challenging to reach if you have issues walking stairs (one of my daughters was on crutches). Loud classical music came out of the old house; better than if it was heavy metal, but would be...More

Great little place to visit (a little bit of a hike to get down there). On the beach they have a small beach bar and separate food place. They were simple but nice. If you’d like to pack your own stuff for snacking and drinking...More

It's located around 7 km from Sveta Nedjelja or 10 km from Hvar town. Definitely worth to see, just be sure to get there early as cars should be left above the beach. It's 10 minute walk from the car park (small one) to the...More

Dubovica is a beautiful beach in Hvar - we reached this beach by scooter and the short climb down to the beach. The climb down is not very difficult, just wear comfortable shoes! The beach itself is beautiful, a very quiet oasis. The beach is...More

It takes a short hike down a narrow path to get to it, but that's part of the charm. This is a rocky (not sandy) beach that is really a private cove, with a small cafe/restaurant serving fresh fish.

Very nice and cosy beach with locals living on the end of it. Bit of a struggle going down/uphill if not in a physical ”okay” status.

Whilst on Hvar, we have taken a taxi boat to Mekićevica, bused it to Dubovica and hired a small boat for the day to go round many of the Pakleni Islands swimming areas. We haven’t visited probably 5% of the Hvar beaches but found this...More

Parked our scooters on the side of the road and hiked/walked down to this little stoney beach. Tiny little bar at the far end serves great mojitos. Water is cool and clear. Great for a refreshing break - not too crowded- likely due to the...More

Amazing beach, although there seems to be a guy in the house nearby the beach who plays loud classical music? I think it’s to drown out any party boats that come into the bay; that’s the only problem. We spent a whole day there and...More

The beach itself is pristine and the water is clear and lovely. Definitely bring a padded mat and some booties as the rocks are tough underfoot. Really enjoyed the entire atmosphere and especially appreciated the great banter with Ivek who runs the beach bar. Looking...More

You can sail directly to the beach and dock your boat there. If its a big one you should use one of the main harbors - in Hvar Town, Sucuraj or Zavala and then take a taxi from there. Hvar Town is the nearest.

Yes there are parking spaces on the bend in the road and then a path down to the beach that takes about 15 minutes
