Beautiful place. There are lots of lovely restaurant 's and a beautiful promenade. You can walk around the cove for more stunning views. It was quite when we were here.

Very small pretty harbour front but over priced food and drinks, 15mins and you've seen it all! You can extend your experience by following along the front upto the church of Our Lady of the Snow, keep to the water side and follow the well maintained path which follows the peninsula carry on walking and you will have a great... We spent a week here and loved it. It was busy enough to keep one interested but quiet enough not to feel the need to escape. There is a wonderful harbour front with shops, market place and lots of bars and restaurants and walks with pine trees and wonderful views for quieter moments. Easy to get to busy, interesting DUbrovnik... More

Cavtat is a very pretty small seaside town with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants around the harbour. It is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area. If you are interested in history there are some interesting churches to visit and a small museum. Like Dubrovnik narrow steep stepped streets lead up from the seafront. The views from... More

We stayed in Dubrovnik and went to Cavtat for a day as we had bus vouchers to visit. It really is well worth a visit for a break from the crowds in Dubrovnik. It's about a 40 minute bus ride. We took a boat transfer back, well worth it for fresh air and a scenic approach to Dubrovnik city walls.... More

Really loved Cavtat. Two small marina areas with about ten -12 restaurants. Set with the mountains as a backdrop it is clean and fresh, very lush with trees a plenty and feels a bit like the French riveriera before it became commercialised. Fantastic walk around the coast from the marina near the bus stop coming into the far corner of... More

Out of the way, but not that far from Dubrovnik is Cavtat, a historic town with load of charm, good eateries, fine shops and stunning architecture. Nice to second a half day walking round the main areas of town. Better still, stay for a few days to unwind after a hectic holiday. Would love to back and rent a small... More
