I don't intentionally seek out cemeteries to visit, but this one was part of the scenic walk around the island and offered a great vantage point of the sea.

It's a bit of a climb to get to but the views are stunning and well worth the effort. You can see Dubrovnik from here and the cemetery is very well maintained.

We had a wander up the very steep hill. The views were very good. I'm not a holy person but if I was to be buried then this is the place!!!

You need to be relatively fit to reach this but it is worth the view across the bay. If you can't manage steep steps, walk around the headland path below, at sunset - absolutely breathtaking...

Lovely trip up the steps to see this and it was worth it! A reminder that Cavtat is more than a tourist destination. The walk around the bay is lovely and there are a few routes so we found.

It wasn't much to get in and it's worth the money. Make sure you pick up one of the info sheets on the table inside, it'll explain who did what and the stories behind the decoration. Really unusual Art Deco mausoleum with beautiful views around...More

It’s a steep walk up to the cemetery but it’s worth it to wander around the cemetery, the views are also very good.

If you walk along the quayside past all of the flashy yachts, there is a restaurant at the very end. Turn right behind all of their outside tables, but before the church and walk up the pathway. You will then see steps going... More

If you go through the car park at the other side of town past the tourist office and head out towards the headland there is a path that leads to steps up to the cemetery. These are not too obvious and the cemetery is not... More
