We hiked to the summit and the journey of about 13 km took our group approximately 5 hours. It was a great hike if not for some drizzles on the way. But once at the top, one would definitely say the effort was well worth it as Vidova Gora is the highest point of the Island of Brac and so... More

Obviously THE place to enjoy the view over the island. It took us a good 2 1/2 hours to hike up, alas no inn up there, glad we had some snacks with us. Would not want to hike up there in summer...

Vidova gora is the highest peak of Adriatic Islands and the view is really spectacular. It offers a nice view over famous Zlatni Rat/Golden Horn Beach Bol and nearby islands (Hvar, Korcula and Vis).

35 degrees C in the early morning - actually to warm for this trip! Parts of the hiking trail is quite steep, but we did not hurry! About 2 hours from Bol city center to the top. Bring a lot of water, can never be to much! And there are almost no shadow, so a hat/caps could be a good... More

We visited Vidova Gora, which is the highest point on the island of Brac, in the course of a bus tour of the island. We were very fortunate that it was on a lovely sunny day, as we were told that the mountain is often covered in cloud. It overlook the coastal town of Bol and from the summit you... More

It's tough for me to review this peak. The view from the top is astounding - gorgeous panorama of the island with others in the distance, a perfect vantage point for the iconic Zlatni Rat beach. However, if you choose to hike to the top rather than drive, here are the downsides: 1) It's STEEP, with lots of loose gravel.... More

If you're on a visit to Brac, take up the tour to the mountain Vidova Gora. Beatiful view over Zlatni Rat and the other Islands is your win. We took a quad, which was a lot of fun going there.

This is a must! Its an amazing place to get amazing views of Zlatni Rat beach! Driving there is a bit quiet, and sometimes feels like you're going nowhere, but it is certainly worth the drive. Keep going and you will find parking right at the top. Some people parked further down, but there isnt much point doing that as... More
