This is an excellent show with breath-taking views as the background. The performers use their natural voice most of the time, probably because of the echoing effect. Fortunately, there are the digital displays on the sides where there are English subtitles for me to understand...More

A fantastic open air dance and song performance by the ethnic groups of Yunnan. The stage is set with Yulong Snow Mountain as a backdrop. Wonderful songs, drums and dances

A Fantastic show depicting the Lijiang way of life. Open air sit down theatre so its out 100% under the buring sun. Must see but best bring sun block, head dress and umbrella maybe.

The Lijiang show is nice and good. The story of the show tells the story of the lives of the native here. The only problem is that we have to endure the sun and heat for about an hour to see the show.

Overall it was a good show. However, as it was open air, the weather made us unbearable. A moment of raining, a moment of hot sunny. We are caught in wearing raincoat as it was raining during the waiting time. There after, it was sunny...More

With the Jade Dragon Mountain as the backdrop and five tiered platform as stage, it’s an impressive show despite the number of years it has been operating

This is the third time I am seeing this show and I still find that the 1 hour show is entertaining. But weather at this location can be a little unpredictable.

So zhang yimou created both this and the hangzhou west lake production. Plot is a little thin, but the production value is good. Beware in summer as it’s hot and the seating is outdoors

I love these kind of show, but really. Extremely overpriced, very old, boring. The show was fully booked and when I turned around to see people around me, they basically just dozed off. The only nice things to see is the background view of the...More

Heard so much about the creation by famous Chinese director Zhang Yimou. The show is staged in the open space 3,100m above sea level with Yulong Snow Mountain as it's backdrop. We decided not to give it a miss though the ticket is not cheap. RMB190...More

Our tour guide booked for us so I have no idea how much it cost and where to buy. Sorry. There are many shows a day though. Rain or shine the show will go on. They provide raincoats so no worries of getting wet.

There are a couple of shows a day but depending on the season. I caught the one at 11am. Tickets are available at the entrance, costs about Rmb200. Get there early as it can get really crowded as the amphitheater sits many.
