It is quite a climb to see where there used to be things. Not a fan of ruins - unless there is some way you can also see how it used to be.

This place was active and growing when the silk road was young. It dates back to BC. This was an old fort area that is up a hill and sits on an island between two rivers.

A huge ancient settlement, partly restorated. It's an excellent place to take photos, especially at sunset. You cannot ride by bike inside unfortunately (we have to leave our bikes at the parking before the entrance).

Ruins showing the town structure- administration building, residential area, guard tower, temple...etc. A great place to take photos. It is best to go early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the intense sun and heat. Highly recommend to hire a guide.
