It’s a nice walk in a Monastery if you’re in Shigatse with some free time. But if you don’t have the time, I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit this Monastery, there are more impressive one in Lhasa

Far superior in terms of ambiance and interacting with Tibetans than anything you'll visit in Lhasa. This is my favorite place in Tibet.

We decided to walk around rather than going inside. Good thing as it happened to be a big festival on the 29th June. Hugh crowd and we were blended into the massive crowd going down. Amazing experience.
