I dragged my feet buying this ticket 80Y (on top of your 90Y Da Fo ticket and if you go on the boat ride 70Y more) But I had seen pictures of the caves before I went and so I decided to go. WOW was I not disappointed. Because it is more money there are way less tourists there, and... More

Be prepared to walk around in here a lot, it's HK$80 to get in but if you have the Le Shan Buddha tickets I think this place is included in your ticket price. There are so many picture opportunities in here, the endless statues all over, there are many secret spots to discover in here also. I was here around... More

We visited the Buddha on a Friday so it was not too crowded. There are one ticket for the giant Buddha and another for the parc: we started with the giant buddha -if you have 2 hours , do not miss it. (you can buy the tickets separatly) Maybe because I saw so many pictures of the giant Buddha but... More

It is a 2 hours bus ride from Chengdu City to LeSan town and then took a van (local call it medium size bus) and took about 30minutes to reach the destination. The location is beside LeSan Big Buddha but with separate entrance and separate fee. For slow traveler, took us about 3~4 hours to enjoy the old and new... More

We visited the Oriental Buddha Capital just before seeing Leshan Giant Buddha. We actually ended up seeing it by mistake after buying the combo ticket and not knowing what it was. Upon entering we were shocked at how beautiful the park was and how few tourists were there. The park contains thousands of buddha statues in amazing condition and is... More

In retrospect I wish we would've spent more time here rather than queueing for the Giant Buddha. The park is really peaceful and the statues are well worth seeing. As students in a Chinese university we got the park and the Giant Buddha for a total of just 100RMB, which was really nice.

After being disappointed by the experience seeing the giant Buddha this was a welcome treat given the relatively few tourists here. The gardens were peaceful and beautiful

Entrance ticket costs 80 yuan and if you follow the routes outlined in the map on the entrance ticket you will eventually reach the Great Buddha of Leshan, which costs another 90 yuan to visit. We took a seven seater van from Xinnanmen bus station costing 54 yuan per person. The van driver brought us to the ticket counter, Inside... More

I believe this is the site that is connected to the Leshan Giant Buddha. The names change, so it's a bit confusing - it might also be called the "Leshan Giant Buddha scenic area." It is a separate park, and costs 80rmb to get in (it's 90rmb to see the Buddha). I say pay the additional money, this part of... More
