An easy walk on wooden paths and stairs lead us down from Pearl Shoal to the falls. The scenery was superb, and every angle is a photo opportunities. The Pearl Shoal Falls reminded me of Iguacu Falls in S. America, but in miniature size. It...More

The reflection of the shallow river flowing downhill sparkles in the sun, giving it the name. The walkway over the "beach" can be crowded at time and it leads to a beautiful waterfall. The waterfalls is beautiful.

We loved this area and took so many pictures and selfies. Be careful where you walk and step because a lady was taking a photo and fell in the water. There will be a lot of people sine it's so popular. Be patient, and cautious...More

You will see a lot of waterfalls with abundant water cascading down. The area is very cool and the waterfalls seems endless.

If you are walking down the valley (that's what I advise), you will walk down the stairs beside the waterfall, so you will see it from multiple angles. Stop and just take it all in.

This waterfall is not very high but it's wide. The water falls in line and clear white with the back of the mountain that dark. It looks like the pearl lining along the rock.

Popular photographic spot and plenty of water cascading over the falls. Lots of vantage points and a good place to cool down during a visit to the park

Hi there, I'm and 18 year old soon-to-be backpacker across Southeast Asia. On my way, I really want to visit Pearl Shoal. I'm looking at going to Chengdu which is the nearest major city that I can find but I can't seem to find out how to actually get from Chengdu to the waterfall. Can anyone help me with a cheaper route to get there? Preferably not by bus as it is 8 hours away. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks, Cam.Hi, cam_clark98. What would you like to know about this attraction?

You can get there either by bus or car now. They are building high speed train but not finished yet.
