The riverside walk across from North Korea is a pleasant stroll with no cars or scooters to watch out for! We were there on a rainy July afternoon, so not too crowded. Views across the river are great.

This river promenade actually goes a long way as I noticed during my car ride along the coast to the Tiger Mountain Great Wall. There are many trees typical of this region. Worth taking a relaxing stroll here and go as far as time permits.

A walk or a jog along the river is good anytime. Totally safe and pleasant surroundings make this a great way to start your day off or after a good meal nearby at any of the great restaurants.

Where you can spot the NK side, and compare the differences. Close to the bridge, it is not allowed to take pictures, due to the border patrol.
