Worth the trip! After being in the Civil Rights Museum, this place was only good, but the trip to the top of the tower was totally worth the view.

Being able to look over the city was remarkable. It was a fun filled experience, especially seeing the Iron Man up close. He can be seen from a distance on the freeway, but up close is really something. We enjoyed visiting the museum also.

We spent about an hour visiting. We mentioned up the monument with the elevator. It is glass to enjoy the view. The viewing deck is steel and you can see through the grates. If you are afraid of heights, it can be unnerving. Pretty views....More

I visited but did not pay to enter the museum. Great view of the city and many plaques around explaining the industrial history of Birmingham. Go if you have and extra 30-60 min just for the nice sidewalks, green grass, photo ops at the monument,...More
