This is a cool stop with kids. It's cheap and informative about the history of Birmingham. The statue is fun too, the kids enjoyed the elevator and the views. Parking was easy and it was generally just a no hassle, fun time.

Took a Lyft car here today, glad we did. Great visitor museum where we learned about the industrial history of Birmingham. Great view from the top of Vulcan, we took the elevator but walk if you are adventurous.

There's nothing like a giant statue of a guy pointing to the sky on top of a mountain. Really is a memorable sight to see. Great place for families or couples. Highly recommend.
