We played the Valley course which was in excellent condition...We enjoyed a leisurely round with very few players on the course. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Although we had a difficult time finding the entrance to the club, it was well worth the...More

Played the Valley Course, easy to make tee times either on line or by calling. Course was in excellent shape and staff is friendly, professional and helpful. Course is well marshaled and play time is reasonable.

Played both the Valley and Ridge courses. Both were very good but if you can only do one play the ridge which has more water and vertical. Great scenary. Plenty of tee boxes for any skill level. No GPS on carts. Good service from staff.

We played both the Ridge and Valley courses over two days. Both were in great shape considering it's late November. Greens rolled fast and true. The Ridge course is preferred due to the better views and variety of design although the Valley course is far...More

I'm from South Florida and my friend is from Arizona. We'll been doing these annual golf outings for over ten years -in the Northeast and very often at Hilton Head. The Ridge course is one of the most scenic yet challenging courses we have played...More

Oxmoor Valley Ridge Course was very challenging with more than half of the holes having uphill approach shots. Large contoured greens made for interesting putting. Attractive layout. Nice clubhouse and range. Greens and bunkers were well kept. Unfortunately, when I booked it 7 days in...More

Very nice course. Not to challenging but not easy at all. There are some very very good views on this course. The fairways are nice, the greens are well kept, and there is not a bad hole on the course. Some forced carries look intimidating...More

Oxmoor Valley/Ridge course...I'm playing there soon.....with the tree lined fairways does the Ridge mark the course with red stakes/ lateral hazard? I would think pace of play would suffer if players had to go back to where last stroke was played and re-hit....anyone play there recently?

No red stakes unless there was a creek or pond. Anything going in you'll be lucky to find and almost impossible to get back into play.

How far in advance can you get tee times at Ridge course?

You can book as much as a year in advance when booking a package with the RTJ Trail.

So the course has blind shots-is that the only reason for your negative review? I'm playing in an event next summer at Oxmoor Valley and I don't have a problem with blind shots-only one part of the game......what about overall condition-green speed-fairway conditions-bunker condition?

I never had a problem with blind shots, however I would pick up a yardage book or personal gps device if it's your first time. Course is beautiful and well maintained. But it is tough and longer than the scorecard reads, as... More
