At first I wasn't sure about this but boy I'm glad I went. What a preserved gem when it comes to our countries history and the iron making industry. It's a huge place. I was amazed it's free. They have a nice self guided tour...More

This is the location of an old pig iron factory and it is wonderful to experience the history that it envelops. Very thankful that the city did not tear down this landmark and we were able to visit. Another bonus, it is free! If you...More

This industrial historical site is stunning. It's an old iron works and the monumental structures are lovely to explore but they visible across the city. It's very photogenic although not sure my snaps do it justice. NB it's free to visit.

I have only been there during the day when there was plenty going on. I could see it being a great place for feeling spooky at night.
