If you live in the Bham area this Saturday morning market is THE place to go for local goods. Go early and beat the crowds. Be sure to stop by Piper & Leaf for excellent artisan teas, Big Spoon for ice cream, & Midnight Salsa for delicious homemade salsas. There's everything from live music, cooking demos, local produce, woodworkings, jewelry,... More

The Market at Pepper Place is a great place to pick up some fresh fruit or veg, particularly unique seasonal produce. It is also a great place for people watching, and enjoying some fresh air and sunshine. Quite a few craftsmen on any given Saturdays as well, selling a variety of hand made items. A long time favorite of mine.

Pepper Place Market is a wonderful place to spend the morning if you are in Birmingham on a Saturday. There are lots of vendors selling all kinds of goodies. From fresh produce, to food, and even some art. I have been fortunate to experience Pepper Place as a patron and as a vendor. Go hungry and eat! Parking can be... More

My aunt from Florida was visiting and we decided that we had to work in a trip to Pepper Place today. It was packed - families with strollers and dogs, young and old were out on this summer morning. There were lots of booths with fresh vegetables, jams and jellies, breads, sweets, hand-made jewelry, art work, potters, baskets and more.... More

Having never been we just wanted to go see. My wife and I had a great time looking at the fruits, vegetables, cheeses, breads, plants, ect... There where also dogs on leashes with well behaved owners. We will definitely go back.

My wife and I love to get up early on Saturdays for this. There is a lot of wonderful food from local vendors, and plenty of locally grown produce to purchase. Artisans come from around the southeast to sell their goods, which range from pottery to homemade cakes. It is always well attended, and people bring their dogs too.

We have a summer Saturday market at home, but this one is wonderful! Love the food trucks, inside and outside venues and shops. Wide variety of produce and plants to buy! Fun for the whole family. It is hot, but yes it is hot everywhere in the south in the summer. I will definitely return next time I visit Birmingham,... More

Just moved here. Compared it to the one in charleston sc where we came from. Wished they would have had more crafty things. Seemed like a lot of vegetables and fruit but less other things, but still neat. Will come back!! Did buy some cool cherry almond soap!!

Hi Melissaaaaaaa, So glad you had fun at the Market at Pepper Place last month. Sounds like you missed the Makers Village, however, which is in an additional parking lot on 28th Street, where we offer around 25 additional tents, trucks and tables with the top artisans and makers from all over the state. There is live music, plus maker... More
