Yes, this is part of the Longmen grottoes, and equally worthwhile. A place to go if in the area at all. But try to go on day without rain, the stairs may be slippery when wet!

The Grotto's and Buddha are well worth seeing and just amazing in regards to the sheer size. It really makes you wonder how it was all done without modern tools. Walk over the river to the other side to look back to see the Buddha...More

If you are in Luoyang this is probably its most interesting site. It takes some walking while at the area but it is worth it.
