Huge disappointment, definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Lured in by the giant butterfly at the entrance but then was simply led round a cheap, fake loop; through a cave and then round to a viewpoint and back down a path which led you past...More

Complete waste of time and money. The cave is mostly fake and gaudy. Would not recommend! Go to Moon Hill instead. Much cheaper and much much nicer.

We were charged 5 times the price of the entrance fee to Moon Hill and the views and scenery that you see here do not come close to those at Moon Hill. Much of the cave is artificial, it is not very large, and is...More

In all honesty, the butterfly looks a bit tacky imo and I kinda expected the whole visit to be more butterfly themed but like only the exterior related to the attraction's title. Despite this, the visit was still very pleasant; there were beautiful views everywhere...More

You cannot miss the giant butterfly as you drive/ride along the Yangshuo road from the city center to Moon hill. It is a great place for photography.

If the extremely loud and terrible quality speakers, blaring Chinese tour guide voices, don't put you off, maybe the gaudy Christmas lighting will. After paying to much as entrance, even before you leave the cave they're begging for more money. Then, once you actually leave...More

Loud, touristy, crowded, pushy. Even the dancing/entertainment had no cultural value. This was a complete waste of time and money and the biggest disappointment of my visit to Yangshou. Do yourself a favour and give this a miss.
