This historic bridge, an important passageway outside downtown Chaozhou, is a key attraction. It is also a unique example of ancient floating bridge, in which part of the structure consists of boats. The stone piers are adorned with traditional artworks and handicraft. Beware of the huge tourist crowd during weekends.

The most famous site in historical city area. Typical southern Chinese style with different great views of the lake and old wall. Cross the long bridge and enjoy the scenery…

Definitely worth visiting the ‘boat linked’ bridge, design of which dates back centuries. From there one can also enjoy a nice view of the river and the mountains.

A bridge with scenic view. Recommend setting aside an hour for a slow stroll on the bridge. The start of the bridge (from Guangji gate of the heritage town) tends to be crowded. Don’t be discouraged by this sight. Get onto the bridge & walk all the way to the other end. As you do so, you will find the experience gets more tranquil for you to enjoy the surrounding view.

Went to the bridge twice in the morning and night. The light show was massive and awesome! Do watch out for pickpockets as there's a huge crowd. I didn't experience any pickpocket incident but I was uncomfortable with the crowd being in close proximity while you're trying to enjoy the show. Worry not, there are police patrolling the place as well.

This is one of the 4 famous old bridges in China. And is very special one with the small boats connection in the middle. It's a must visit if you are in Chaozhou.

The middle part of it will opens for tourist and using many many boats to link up to allow pass through. Too bad the weather wasn't good and the water current of Han Jiang is too strong and we cannot walk through the bridge.

We arrived raining at night. Should have gone over to the river front to take pictures when this bridge was nicely lit.

Small boats are placed together in the middle of the bridge to make the connection two sides of the bridge at 9 am. At night, these small boats would be removed for other boats and barges to pass through the river.
