Beautiful sites around every turn. The weather is unpredictable but great place to take photos. High in the mountains the clouds float by in the cool clean air. Be warned that there are a lot of steps and it can be steep.More

Mount Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) is like no other in its form and fauna - majestic rock faces, rock formations, pines and other trees, spectacular staircases through the rocks and outcrops and mostly blue skies (during our visit) punctuated by slightly haunting cloud vapours. From the...More

The Yellow Mountains are off the beaten path, but you can still get there fairly easily by high speed train or airplane. The airport is about an hour south (in Tunxi), while the high speed train station is about 50 minutes south (10 minutes north...More

The place is absolutely amazing. I am only deducing one point simply because there are just too many people and, at times, it is a complete zoo. However, the scenery is outer worldly. I strongly recommend going very early in the morning in an attempt...More

Sorry Kimberley, I don't know. China highlights may be able to answer this. The area is weather dependent so it may change depending on if the seasons are (on time ).
