This winery is one of the most beautiful we have visited, and we felt welcomed when we arrived. We ended up joining a tour late, but, again, were welcomed to the group. Every space is beautifully designed and you can tell they spent a lot of money on the buildings. However, we feel like that translated into the very high... More

We were told to tour this winery by the wine experts at Bocanariz, a Santiago fine wine bar. The location of this property, up on a hill overlooking the valleys is magnificent. The winery itself, dug into a hill, is a multi-story, gravity flow building with attention paid to each architectural and wine making detail. Winery reminded me of Opus... More

The architecture and wine history of the winery are great surprises once there. It is also a great tour experience to learn about wine making

There are just four casitas to stay in at this wonderful property. They are set up on a hill overlooking the wine estates vineyards. The staff are very helpful and attentive, the food is superb and beautifully presented. All the wine that accompanies the menus are included and very good and the sommelier explains all about them. The casitas are... More

We booked a private driver and three tours via the travel agency at Hotel Santa Cruz. It all went really well but the best tour was at Lapostolle. Our tour guide (for a party of only 4) was excellent and so were the many wines that we tasted. Highly recommended.

My husband and I visited the Lapostolle Winery with our friends as part of a full day wine tour. The property is beautiful and the cylindrical building is very modern and unique. This was our favorite vineyard tour. At the end, we tasted three wines, our favorite of which was their small production Clos Apalta red wine blend.

Not only did the Lapostolle winery (owned by the french Lapostolle Marnier family that is most famous for its Gran Marnier)produce the best red wine of 2008 (the Clos Apalta), but did it also build one of the most well thought through and beautiful vineyards I've have ever seen. From its shape to it's functionality and design is the building... More

We booked ahead for the wine tour followed by the evening meal. The wine tour only lasted an hour and would have preferred to have the wine tasting in a room where you could sit and was at a more sensible temperature. The cost was more than other vineyards so was a bit disappointed with it. There was an hour... More

If you are into architecture, you must visit here! The thought and planning that went into this "bird's nest" building is amazing. Cut into the hillside, you can see the stone from the inside and walk on it as well because they used the stone they removed for the flooring. Placement of lighting to highlight wine barrels to ceiling lights... More
