Interesting church but rebuilt to modern standards.

Enjoyed the wooden bars holding up the ceilings and cool interior. Not a long visit but appreciated the clean upkeep.

I think its the overall simplicity of this church that drew me to it. Its unopposing from the outside, matching the building techniques of the other buildings around it. Inside the church is very simple in design, so it feels like you're in the 1800s. By far the greatest characteristic is the roof. Its a timber A frame design, but... More

The church of San Pedro is totally worth a visit. Compared to the size of the town rhis church is huge. The style is different compared to most other churches we have seen on our extensive travels in South America. It is placed very central at the main square, so if in San Pedro you will probably pass by anyway.

Beautiful little church. It opens after 10am, so don't go there earlybin the morning. It's in the center of the city, really easy to walk with children, just be careful with the bikes on the streets

This is old church next to the San Pedro plaza and is a great example of native architecture. It seems to be open to public and you can walk in during open hours. Good for a 10 minute walkthrough

When you are in the city centre, just walk in for a short bit. The church is small and quite nice to look at from the inside and outside. It is worth it to check it out.

Definitely worth a visit. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the space and also reading the history of the church. It opens on to the town square which bustles with life. Pick a coffee shop after your visit to the Church to watch the world go by.

Stumbled upon this by accident and decided to take a look inside. A nice, simple church with a beautiful ceiling. Besides that there is not really much to talk about. Just take a look inside and enjoy the silence.

This little church is not white anymore. People used to think that Spanish churches were white, but this does not seem to be the case. It has been restored now and painted in the original colour of the adobe: brownish red. The ceilingin cactuswood is as impressive as ever.

The church isn't all that much. Located right on the town square, it lacks much in the way of ornamentation. The simple wood roof, visible only from the inside, was interesting. A very quick look is about all.
