If you want to have a quiet day surrounding by nature and just be faraway from the city and its noises, this is the perfect place! Even if it's IN the city is so nice and relaxing that is like it's in another world.

We did this as a long day trip out of Santiago with AndoAndes, which was $100 USD/person. This was a good day trip, with some mild adventure, great scenery, and wine & cheese. Be prepared for significant crowds if you go on weekends or holidays.

We had a tiny (cheap) hire car & it was fine - but we did a fairly simple drive & we didn’t go off the main road/s If you are going to explore more off the roads then a 4wd would probably be useful
