It's a beautiful valley, but the energy has something extra. I loved it. The people were even nicer than other Chileans. I'd definitely go back one day if I could.

The Elqui Valley is well worth a visit. However, do not stop at Vicuna. This town is rather squalid and does not really capture the real nature of the upper valley. Places such a Montegrande and Pisco Elqui are very picturesque and have some history...More

Definitly recommended to visit a small pueblo in this nice valley. Pisco Elqui seems to be the highlight and be quiet. But check in advance, can get crowded for summer season. But in April it was perfect and it felt of the beaten track. Easy...More

Good luck with regards to your goal. It is possible to find a company that may help, but with your time constraints expect to pay a premium. Safe travels!
