Ta Dumbong has very important local significance and is located at traffic roundabout on National Road 5, the name Battambang is derived from the legend Ta Dumbong.

Ta Dumbong Statue occupies pedestal in a busy roundbout into Battambang. It is the only roundabout statue that I have evr seen people performing everyday worship at.

Made a quick stop here whilst doing a country side tour. Had a different story told to me by my guide then what has been mentioned in other reviews about the history. Good for a photo opportunity whilst your in Battambang
