Sadly the bamboo trains are not running anymore because the Cambodian government is building a new train line on top of the old one. The only thing you can see now is an old bamboo train cart.

Due to railroad construction, the bamboo train has been greatly reduced in length, and may even be permanently cancelled. Check out the latest when you arrive.

So gutted to arrive in Battambang to find the Bamboo train has now closed down. Just wanted to write a review so fellow travellers are aware before making the journey to Battambang
