The pagoda shows 4 giant Buddha’s one racing in each direction. It’s great for some cool photos, but you can probably get around the whole thing in about 10 mins

It is often found that inside the pagoda there are four statues of a Buddha looking in different directions, but here the statues themselves form the walls of the pagoda.

This pagoda is made up of four Buddhas sitting back to back on four sides. It doesn't take long to walk around it, but the statues are quite large and the nature of the design makes it different from others you have been to. Worth the stop for a change of view.

Very large Buddha statues, one on each of the four directions. Not a great deal to see. Worth a visit whilst in Bago.

Once around and then back to the car.
4 Buddha's facing 4 directions.
Yes they are big. Something for the locals.
Not many tourists.

The pagoda has 4 very old Buddhas. The Buddhas are massive. They are very tall. They measure 27 meters. They are not well restored. Nevertheless, the place is unique. The floors, as expected, are dirty. There were no people visiting the pagoda. We visited around 330 pm.

You have to present the Bago tickets to get access to the pagoda. It is far from all other sites of Bago. You need a car to get there.

It is not one of the most impressive sites in Myanmar. I cannot explain why I feel fascinated by this pagoda; I simply found the pagoda unique and magical. I like the colours, size, posture, and expressions of the Buddhas.

Four Buddhas facing four different directions. Each statue is slightly different to the rest. The story behind it was interesting.

Worth a viewing. It towers over you. Well preserved.
One of the few buddhas you can a photo of all in one shot and without things getting in the way. It’s hot in the sun but this one has white tikes which is better in bare feet.

It is all about the 4 buddhas. The most impressive one and you can find it on the way to Bago. It is clearly seen from quite faraway!
