Walking around this little town of Nessbar is like taking a trip to the old times. Ruins, perfectly surrounded by the veins of the narrow, picturesque streets, are rough, stones fitted in ages ago. It was the most beautiful place in Sunny Beach, away from...More

Ok, what do you expect to see here?? Nice old ruins, well preserved, but surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. Someone here said 15 minutes to see it - I’d say it takes 5 minutes at the most.....

These ruins take no more than fifteen minutes to walk around but are reminder of architecture of that time. Nice that they are held in this condition. Light comes from different arches and you can plan nice pictures.

A lovely place to have your photo taken whilst visiting the lovely town of Nessebar. There are plaques to describe the history of the ruin. Just one of the amazing ruins and sites on the isthmus.

My wife and I visited the Church of St Sofia in Old Nessebar during a 10-day holiday in Bulgaria. It is right in the centre of the old town and is worth wandering around for a few minutes.

Situated right in the heart of the old city, these ruins are worth a look. There's no charge to look around and they're accessible 24 hours a day. At night, they have a certain romance to them.

The church or ruins of church are well preserved. There is an information board, so you can learn some interesting facts about the church. It is monumental! No entrance fee.

As far as I know the whole Nessebar city became a world heritage city in 1983. One can find a commemorative plaque at the gate of the city. On the other hand municipality should assign a guard who could prevent playing and... More
