Nice visit at night. The building is well preserved and the Museum has a good culture history of the local people. It can visit any time.

The former traditional high school building, the Atenel Pedro II, is currently hosting a museum dedicated to transport visitors to the reality and culture of the state. They have several interactive stations, based on the Kinnect technology which are attractive to both adults and infants... they also have a good cafeteria and gift shop, besides being free of charge.

Super interesting, it is interactive and very modern. They have rooms about the Sergipe's slangs, history, food and nature. I highly recommend it. I cannot imagine a more friendly and helpful staff.

Most of the rooms are in Portuguese, but there was a Indian family there and a staff member was translating everything into English for them and helping them during the entire visit. So I believe it is also interesting to foreigners.

If you want to know more about the history of Sergipe state and its people it's a nice place to go. It is located in the city centre and the building itself is already something interesting to check.

A modern museum with nice structure and information about several things. Very helpful staff and lively narration. It worth visiting: above all, it is free.

Museum is not my type but I confess I was very surprised with this one. There are many interesting things to interact, good staff, clean space and it's also free of charge. I do recommend a visit there to know a little bit more of this rich and amazing culture.

Museums are not usually on my to do list when I visit new places but I usually find myself enjoying them once I'm there. This was definitely one of those situations. It is free to get in and all of the displays are really eye catching. It isn't great if you don't understand at least a little Portuguese, but I didn't find that to be a major obstacle and it actually turned out to be the perfect chance for me to improve my Portuguese. The building itself is beautifully restored and that in itself is a reason to visit. Overall it's a good way to spend an afternoon.

Here one will find lots of information about history and culture of Brazil´s smallest state. Old and contemporary traditions are explained in a simple maner. The museum is modern and the staff is nice. However, like other places in town, one will not find lots of help in English.

Excellent place - free of charge - to spend one or two hours with the kids. We loved it! Helpful staff, organized and interesting. Don't miss the Café. The beef and banana pie was amazing!
