Great view.

A place I took friends when they come to visit. Free, usually no lines, great view. Keep an eye ( better TWO) on your children: the walls are low and easy to climb on them!!!!

You should go to the side of the building, door number 35, is for free and it is nice to have a view from there.

Martinelli Building is not the tallest building in SP but is the tallest open for visitors. It's free and you'll find a beautiful lookout of the whole city, even the skyline of the Paulista Avenue. I was there in an afternoon of a week day and was not busy. The groups are allowed to go up each half an hour... More

It's a historical building where you can visit the rooftop. The rooftop was home to a very wealthy family in the past, so it's a place rich in details to see. It has a gorgeous view of the city and it's not near as packed as Banespa building (which you can see from Martinelli's rooftop). Definitely recommend visiting it.

I liked this even more than the Italian building. It is free and we did not need to quee in november on a monday afternoon. I like that there's no restaurant or souverinshops on top - just the wonderfull view to enjoy. I recommend!

The building has days and times exclusives to the sighseeing. Never on saturdays, unfortunatelly. You go up with a group but without a touristic guide, but the landscape deserves a selfie, you can see the concrete jungle

Good place to see the city. But not the tallest. Surprisingly, they don't charge any fee for the entry. However, you may have to be in a queue to get access. The space on top is limited. So, it is recommended for a short visit.

This is one of the most important buildings of the city of São Paulo. A true icon of architecture in the "old center" of the capital's streets. Visit! The view is wonderful!

Staying in Centro

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro
To truly know São Paulo, you have to start at the old centre, full of history and landmarks with stories to tell. Get a taste of local food at the Municipal Market, and if you are brave enough, head to the crowded shopping street “25 de março” for cheap deals on a wide assortment of items. Beautiful buildings in this area include the Post Office Building, Luz Station, Pagé Gallery, Pateo do Colegio and the iconic “Viaduto do Chá”. If you find yourself amazed by the local language, the Museum of Portuguese Language is the place to go. Cultural centres, like Banco do Brasil’s, also offer a variety of entertainment options. Finally, if you fancy watching a Gregorian mass with organ music, stop by São Bento Monastery on a Sunday morning.
