The emerald heart of an oftentimes gray city, São Paulo's Parque do Ibirapuera offers respite from the urban madness among cool, shady trees and mentally-stimulating structures. Running trails, bike paths, and yoga and capoeira sessions let locals and visitors alike keep fit, while a clutch of museums and galleries — such as the museums of Modern and Contemporary Art, all designed by master Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer — gives the brain a good workout. The impressive Museu Afro Brasil and fiery Auditório Ibirapuera are two of the park's treasures.

It is an excellent place to get some rest in the middle of the city, where you can go with family or friends, have fun or even go alone and read a book sitting on the grass in front of the lake.

Pleasent to take a walk or run. Nice trees and lakes. Locals go there a lot, specially at weekends. There are some museums in there.

I love Ibirapuera park. It is a much needed green space in the concrete jungle of Sao Paulo. I have always found fellow Yogis to practice with and regularly enjoy fresh Coconut water while relaxing with a nice walk after work.

This is tucked at the far end of Sao Palo and it is the perfect space to get away from the hustle and bustle. Very chilled space with lots of free activities to get involved with!
