A pleasant experience, go inside!

A very pleasant experience, make sure to go inside, and depending on the day even walk on the grass. It's located in a very good neighborhood, beautiful surroundings!

The most traditional Stadium of the city of São paulo. Nice surroundings. Museum of football. Good Food Open Market Fair in front of the station 5 days a week. Nice to see or taste fruits and the PASTEL; traditional pstry of Brazil, with suggar cane juice.

Brazil sells their tickets first to members of the Futebol Clubs, then everyone else 2 days before the game. We still got great seats at the public ticket sales: On home side of field M35 & M36 ( bleacher section centered over the mid line of field and our seats were 1 row below mid-height of bleacher section ) couldn't... You can't leave São Paulo without meeting the Pacaembu Stadium. It carries much of the city's history and its wonderful architecture (specially the façade) is emblematic. There happened many historical matches including World Cup's ones. It also hosts the Soccer Museum which is great as well. I totally recommend to visit it

The stadium itself is OK, but what worth the visit is the Soccer Museum. Very unexpensive (less than US$ 2 per person), includes some views of the stadium, original radio records of great goals with the original speakers, commented videos of epic plays, lots of info, a great experience at the back of the bleachers with real video and sound... The Corinthians now have a new arena but this is their old homestead. The Stadium ist fit into the landscape which is interesting to see. Just in front of the stadim is a food market, where locals sell their produce, meat, fish, condiments and such, which I enjoyed to visit. And of course, visit the Musemu de Futebol!

I wasn't expecting much but turned out to be a good surprise. Stadium area cool, can get some great shots of the stadium and surroundings. Best part is the soccer museum, specially the interactive area were you are inside a "torcida" , best known as firms. The sound is just amazing! Also outside there's a number of vendors, you must... The Pacaembu Stadium is a great place to visit. Home to one of the traditional Sao Paulo soccer teams. The soccer museum inside the museum is a great attraction for people from any age. Nevertheless, I must admit that the pastries nearby the stadium were my favorite part of visiting Pacaembu. No wonder they are called "The Best Pastel of... More

Staying in Pacaembu

Neighbourhood Profile
Pacaembu
Highlights of this neighbourhood include Pacaembu Stadium and the Museum of Soccer, but they are not the only attractions it offers. Street markets are part of São Paulo’s culture, and at Charles Miller Square you will find one of the city's best. Arrive early to be delighted by fresh fruits, vegetables, coconut water and “pastel”, fried dough filled with innumerable options including cheese, meat, and shrimp. If you are into architecture, don’t miss Casa Modernista and Casa Buarque de Holanda, two historic houses. The small residential streets along Pacaembu offer quiet refuge from the chaotic traffic.
