I was at the site on the last Sunday of July/24 for a family tour.
Upon arrival there was a line of cars to enter, but nothing too long.
The entrance fee is R$ 5.00 per person and more R$ 20.00 for parking if you wanted to put the car in there.
Children up to 7 years and the third age do not pay.
Attractions: Mini Zoo - I liked it, free entry.
Telephone - Pay separately
Pedacinho - Partly paid R$ 25,00 pedal R$ 50,00, 20 minutes walk.
It has a children's park and an area that can enter the dam to swim.
On site there is restaurant and snack bar with varied menu and affordable prices.
I found a good tour option especially on hot days. You can pick up on site.
Pets are not allowed in.

The park is nice and the place is beautiful, but they can improve a lot. You arrive at the parking lot and there are no signs or employees to tell you where to go or where the attractions are. The Cable Car is not working. The price for renting kayaks is wrong, it is double the price indicated on the official website of SBC City Hall.

This park is situated south of the Billings Reservoir, in Sao Bernardo. There are buses going from Sao Bernardo to Riacho and to the park itself, and there are also buses going to Rio Grande da Serra.
I chose to walk from Riacho Grande, a 40 minute walk mostly along the waterside. Here I already noticed some birds at the pedestrian bridge over the highway. I heard one toucan, amongst others. Some locals told me that at 6.00 the place would be full of parrots and toucans. At the waterside I noticed herons, egrets, and kingfishers. Walking up the road to the park I first saw a toucan, and a little later a trogon. In the park I noticed some parrots and parakeets, southern lapwings, cormorants, and a pied-billed grebe. Then I visited the small zoo. There are many interesting animals, including a puma, porcupines, peccaries, deer, agoutis, a cayman, an otter, four caracaras, several monkey species, two leguanas, some snakes, a black-billed toucan, many parrots (with many lost feathers though), some owls, a falcon, and a few more species. After lunch I rented a kayak and spent more than 90 minutes on the reservoir, where I mainly saw two kinds of kingfisher.
I had a good time, and I think I will come back at an earlier time of the day. What I don't understand is why there are five different restaurants and snackbars. One or two would do, and that would save some space for nature.

There is a fee to enter the park, but it is not very expensive, inside there are some different attractions such as kayaks, a restaurant, a cable car (when I went it was closed) and a zoo. I went with limited time so I couldn't explore much and went straight to the zoo, which was my interest.
All the animals seemed well cared for, with large enclosures and had signs that told the story of each one, the cool thing is that it seems that all the animals were rescued from road accidents and the like and are there either for rehabilitation or because they cannot return to the nature. There is a closed area that you can enter with a guide to interact with different birds like woodpeckers but they are only at two times so as not to stress the animals and unfortunately we missed it.
The park itself doesn't seem very big but it's well worth a visit, whether you want to have a picnic, go kayaking or visit the zoo.
