The beach is dirty, lots of polution, people trows trash on the beach, the water is not clean, it could be beautiful.

Close Downtown but not a great beach

This beach is right in the middle of Santos which makes it very convenient. However, the beach is very wide and not very soft sand. Good for running, playing futbol (soccer) etc and there are lots of activities going on. There was a lot of surfing going on and it was fun to watch off the point. Some surf warnings around the point and island that is in the bay. We had a fun time on a partly cloudy day, but for a real beach day I would go somewhere else.

My hometown- Santos!

Santos is my hometown and everytime I can I go and visit there...I just love Jose Menino Beach... there are great and cheap hotels nearby, you can walk along the sidewalks towards the beach, and at the beach....you can walk, enjoy the surprising sightseeing, stop at the stands at the beach for a drink , if its very hot you can swim in the ocean... there is the Surf Museum...just amazing! I just love going there!!! Go and then tell me!!!

Best beach to surf and skate
