It's very nice. There was a brief explanation about the train and how it works before and the ride is awesome! Especially at night, when the sparks are visible.

I and my family (wife, son and daughter aged 4 to 6 years) found it very enjoyable. The children loved it and my wife and I also enjoyed. Recommended for all ages.

I went to the ride in may, with friends and kids, the kids can be placed on our laps so they didn't have to pay for the ride. There's a miniature train at the campinas station, kids loved it! There were many interesting stories told, but all in portuguese. It was a 3 hour train ride from campinas to jaguariuna,... More

Although trains aren't the first option to travel in Brazil, it is a great surprise to see the train collection and still in shape they have. Volunteers run the place and they are always there to help you and give you a pleasure experience. I have visited other more famous train museums (CA, Grenoble, Germany) but the variety of machines... More

Very interesting trip especially for small children. The 1h30 minute ride is enough for them. The 3 hour full tour might tire them a little but does include a stop for typical countryside lunch. The only glitches in this trip in my view: too expensive for adults who pay full price (US$25,00) for the short trip; too many intrusions and... More

If you want to distract your kids for a while this is a good option. Don't expect much, it is just an old train but it is interesting and can help you spend an afternoon doing something different

Great thing to do with kids for a taste of old time trains. It is a slow ride among farms and landscape.

In general is a good experience, the landscapes are amazing, the train is beautiful and well kept. I will just add a better cafeteria (bigger, with more variety, better facilities) in the main station.

A great trip for people that love trains and old history. Operators spent a lot of time explaining the steam engine and how they work. The stations are over 100 years old. Nice way to see the country side.
