we arrived there at night, so we could see the cathedral only from outside, but still this is very impressive and nice building

It is a vivid, beautiful construction. The altar, paintings, stained-glass windows and sculptures inside are pretty interesting. A monument in downtown.

True, there are cathedrals everywhere, but this small church is charming. Don’t go just for it but if you are near the market or near the almost 200 year tree, take a pick at the church. Worthy.

it is a piece of the patrimony of the acorian culture. This church was put on fire and completely destroyed by pirates so I recommend to visit.it .

Compared to cathedrals in Europe this is very small and not much to see.
Even the bums we're sitting in the church.
The big old tree in front of the church is much more special.

I think you can skip this without regreting it, but if it is a cloudy day to go to the beach you can do it. Is a pretty church but with nothing special in comparison to other beautiful cathedrals you can find in Brazil. I recommend this as a secondary option for cloudy or rainy days. Also if you go driving be prepared to deal with the terrible traffic of the center of Floripa.

06/12/23 - It is one of the city's tourist attractions, the cathedral is in front of a square, has beautiful stained glass windows and is also very visited.

It is worth a long visit, it houses many works of religious art. Very well maintained. A representation of the Virgin Mary, Joseph and the child Jesus stands out.
