I met a Brazilian girl when I was in Campeche and she drove here. It was amazing to see the river coming into the sea. All the fishing boats etc
I checked into a room in pousada portal Sul hotel. I loved Room #7 .

Great unspoiled beach, popular with surfers. Be sure to visit the lookout point above the beach, Morro das Pedras, for a postcard-worthy photo.

One of the best beaches in Florianópolis with amazing views. Offers the option of having lunch at the beach since there are some small restaurants with tables on the sand.

lovely beach :) there was a high tide when we were there so we couldn't sunbathe on the sand or lie on it, but there was loads of surfers and we loved watching them from the edge of the beach. theres lots of trees, some palm trees and its just a lovely beach - i just wish the tide wasn't so high! the bars on the beach were all closed but think it is low season. we had just done the Lagoinha Do Leste walk and it ended here which was nice

You have to take a little trail to get to the beach! It's beautiful, has restaurants with bathroom. Not to crowed, people super polite. I recommend for half day if you are adventurous and want to know more of the island or an entire day because it's totally worth it!

The place is nice with good structure in the neighborhood. The sea is calm but the water is very cold. Beautiful place to visit.

If the tide is low u can walk trough a small river.
If the tide is high, only over the bridge more in the back u can access the trail which will lead you to the beach.
To find a place to park is another story- there are some secure parkings which cost.
Or u park the car in one of the many little streets.
After a walk of 5- 10 minuts u will reach the beach- depend where u park.
The beach is good for famylis.
In the back of the beach, there are not so much waves.
In the beginning there are good waves for surfers. There are always surfers.
The beach has two Restaurants.
The price is okey for us, of course it is not cheap but i can eat in front of a nice beach 👍🏻
Through that beach u can access a trail which will lead u to a one of the most beautiful beach in floripa: lagoinha do leste.
But u will need time- it will cost u 1hour minimum depend how fit u are. The trail goes through forest and open fields and is sometimes exhausting- but very beautiful 👍🏻
take some water with u.

Side by side with the beach of Armação,It is really a very nice place to visit, with a short walk through the wooden bridge that separates the beaches of Armação and Matadeiro, you have an incredible 180 ° view to other beaches and to the sea. You can reach it by swimming, walking at low tide or crossing the bridge that is about 50 meters upstream. But it is common for the river that empties in the middle of the beach, carry sewage, especially in the summer season, be especially careful with children.

The beach is nice but is extremely crowded, and the tide rises quite early in the summer meaning by 3pm you're limited to a few meters of sand. Not many options to eat or drink there. The trail to reach the beach is not ideal for older people, access is therefore limited.
